La canción fué lanzada el 21 de mayo de 2009 y el productor principal es Will.i.am pero cuenta con la colaboración de el productor francés David Guetta. La canción fue mezclada por Dylan “3-D” Dresdow y masterizada por Chris Bellman. La canción muestra partes de la melodía de “Love Is Gone” de David Guetta, quien hace un cameo en el video de “I Gotta Feeling” junto a Kid Cudi. La canción fue utilizada durante la apertura de Miss Universo 2009.
